A quatre heures ce matin, nous avons pensé à vous tous. Avec le décalage horaire qui nous séparait de vous, nous vous imaginions tous rejoindre l’école. Nous étions entassés, en pleine nuit dans un taxi-brousse à quitter le désert de Lençois, au Brésil, tous les cinq à partager une vraie émotion. Ni la nuit, ni les poules coincées entre les bagages, ni le massage fessier dû à cette piste terrible n’auront eu raison de ce moment, où les images de la rentrée se percutaient les unes aux autres dans nos esprits. En regardant Anatole, Jules et Eliot, j’ai compris que quelque chose se passait là, d’important. Et si c’était le premier jour de notre aventure Saperliplanète ? Et si seulement parce que leurs copains reprenaient le chemin de l’école, ils comprenaient enfin que quelque chose d’extra ordinaire se passait dans leur vie d’enfant ? Nous avons parlé de leur rentrée à eux, des leçons et des devoirs qui vont démarrer enfin ! Je les sens prêts à assumer ces conditions précaires d’enseignement avec leurs parents. Ce sera leur manière à eux d’être moins loin de leurs copains, de leur école. Je les sens déçus d’avoir loupé cette rentrée, de ne pas avoir pu ressentir cette petite boule dans le ventre et partager les rêves et les angoisses d’un jour avec leurs camarades d’école. J’ai vu dans leurs yeux cette cour d’école pleine de stress, de retrouvailles et de beaux habits. La rentrée scolaire a toujours été un beau moment dans ma vie. Je suis heureux d’avoir passé le témoin à des enfants qui aiment l’école. Je vous souhaite à toutes et à tous une belle rentrée scolaire. D’ici, dans l’une des régions les plus pauvres du Brésil, Eliot, Jules et Anatole se joignent à moi pour vous dire que droit à l’éducation est une chance. Alors bonne chance à vous tous ! A tous les écoliers, les collégiens et leurs enseignants.

Dans notre école, tout s'est bien passé avec les nouvelles et les anciennes têtes blondes. Alors bon courage à vous pour démarrer votre programme et à très bientôt car nous vous demanderons sans doute quelques petites infos qui nous serviront dans nos projets de classe respectifs.

Les enfants sont très heureux de voir les enseignants ne pas les oublier trop vite... nous avons eu pas mal de nouvelles des amis du quartier et même des photos sur le chemin de l'école !
